Hummel Park offers a variety of events and activities for the community. If you don't see an event listed here that you know we host, please contact us for more information. If there is an event we don't host, but you would like us to consider hosting, please contact us with your ideas.

A new holiday tradition is being started at Hummel Park, and we want you and your family to be a part of this exciting FREE event. A HOMETOWN HOLIDAY will bring lots of fun and activities to Hummel Park, including a Christmas Train Ride, Photos with Santa Claus, holiday movies on our outdoor BIG SCREEN, Story Time with Mrs. Claus, donkey rides for the kids, crafts, cookies and cocoa and so much more.
This will be the first of many years for this fun-filled family event. Children will receive a HOMETOWN HOLIDAY PASSPORT to be stamped at each of the attractions they visit. All the activities will take place on the west side of Hummel Park. Guests should enter the park at 5373 S. County Road 700 East, Plainfield (immediately across from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy).
ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE TO THE PUBLIC except photos with Santa. All proceeds from the photos with Santa will benefit a local non-profit agency. All events are accessible by paved or concrete walkways. The event will take place regardless of the weather conditions, so dress appropriately.
